Alison Uttley was the author of many much-loved children’s classics such as the ‘Little Grey Rabbit’ series. Her stories have been treasured by Mark Radcliffe and his family for generations. For this event at Knutsford Library, Mark will be reading aloud from a selection of his personal favourites to celebrate the work of this outstanding author and re-introduce her to a new generation. This event is especially suitable for children.

Disabled parking is available at the rear of the Library and there is space for prams and pushchairs at the entrance.Pay parking is available on the Booths Supermarket car park behind the Library.

Additional information

Alison Uttley lived in The Old Vicarage on King Street, Knutsford in circa 1910. Now a solicitor’s office, the building displays a blue plaque commemorating her connection with Knutsford.
