This exhibition celebrates the hidden history of LGBT in Cheshire. Developed as a result of a joint project between Chester Pride and Big Heritage, and displayed by Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service (ranked number eight in LGBT charity Stonewall’s prestigious Top 100 Employers list for 2017) at their community fire station, this exhibition examines the history of Cheshire from the founding of the Roman fort in Chester in 79AD right through to the modern day, from an LGBT perspective.
