This event will have a strong 1940s feel. It will take place in The Lost & Found’s Secret Bar, which will be transformed into a WW2 era ‘Speakeasy’ especially for Knutsford Heritage Open Days.

The L&F cocktail experts will run guests through the mathematics and science behind basic mixology and demonstrate how to make the classic cocktails of the era, as well as sharing the secrets behind The Codebreaker, their specially created, Alan Turing-inspired cocktail!

This event is only open to over 18s and is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. Booking is essential.

Additional information

Max 10 people per tour/session. The Lost & Found is housed in the building known locally as the Old Town Hall (despite never having been used as such!). It was designed by Alfred Waterhouse – who also designed Manchester Town Hall and the Natural History Museum in London – and is an iconic Knutsford building.
